The Irish believe that fairies are extremely fond of good wine. The proof of the assertion is that in the olden days royalty would leave a keg of wine out for them at night. Sure enough, it was always gone in the morning.

 TWO HANDS 2007 SHIRAZ

This wine received a rating of 90point from Stephen Tanzer’s  International Wine Cellar in July/August of this year.  “Vivid ruby. Red berries, cherry, fresh rose and smoky bacon on the varietally expressive nose. Vibrant raspberry and blackcurrant flavors are concentrated, clean and brisk, boasting impressive juicy lift. I can't find any tannins. The zesty red berry notes carry through on the sharply focused finish.”

This vintage shows delicate citrus aromas of gooseberry and kiwi with subtle hints of pears and cantaloupe. A bright entry on the palate and flavors of a tart, crisp Granny Smith apple lead to a soft, broad lingering finish.
