Mark West Pinot Noir

Produced in Graton, Sonoma County, CA by Mark West Winery this pinot noir has a lot of bang for the buck and won’t empty your wallet.  Their focus at Mark West Winery is to create affordable wine that anyone can enjoy by retaining the same elements and quality of a pricier pinot.  Color: Ruby translucent. Aromas: Smoky, lightly floral, blackberry, blueberry and black cherry. This is a smooth light bodied red on the tongue, perhaps a bit dilute by California standards. Smoky red and black fruit flavors lead to a simple light finish.

Chalk Hill Chardonnay
Aromas are concentrated and complex – white flower, sweet cream, ripe peach, lemon oil and wet stone – leading to a palate anchored with rich minerality and tropical and stone fruit. A clean acidity and mouth-filling texture unite pear, pineapple and sweet orangefruit with subtly sweet brown spice and honeyed toast. This wine’s balanced and structured palate and bright fruit indicate its age-worthiness; it can be cellared and enjoyed for 5-7 years.

Cusumano Syrah

Stoic and reticent upon first meeting, this Syrah slowly gathers itself in the glass to emit a luxuriant scent of black fruits, plum, licorice, and Mediterranean herbs. On the palate, the Cusumano Syrah expands and fills the mouth with all of the enticing fruit and spice that Syrah can conjure, to which is added a soft mineral quality on the finish – the hallmark of the finest wines of Sicily. All this pleasure adds up to a unique variation on Syrah and one very enjoyable red wine.
